Authenticated Voter Registration process in India

Voting is a fundamental right in a democratic system.  As per the Constitution of India, every Indian citizen who is of sound mind is given a universal voting right. The voter is not discriminated on the basis of factors like religion, caste, creed, economic status, etc.

Every state in India provides an opportunity to its citizens to apply to and register themselves with the Election Commission of India (ECI). The citizens have to apply for voter registration forms and fill their correct personal details to get a voter ID card.

Citizens have to be very cautious in order to get authenticated forms to apply for voter ID cards. These days many fake and bogus campaigns are ongoing in Cyberspace, which exploit the personal details of citizens for various commercial and other dubious purposes. One such hoax is the Punjab Referendum 2020 campaign. This campaign is backed and sponsored by Pakistan’s military intelligence agency, the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI). The people who are running this campaign are basically criminals and human traffickers, and are associated with Khalistani terrorists. They once again want to disturb the peace in Punjab at the behest of Pakistan. Their prime modus operandi is to spread hatred and to instigate the innocent people of Punjab against their own country.

For this seditious campaign, they have announced to a Voter registration program in 2020. However, the prime agenda behind this campaign is to secure the personal details of the people of Punjab, viz., Name, Address, Contact Number, Email Address and many other details. These details would then be sent to Pakistan’s ISI, who would misuse these details for their own subversive purposes. The fake voter registration form looks like this: 

Beware Indians, do not fell into this trap!! This fake campaign is being run by a group of fraudsters/scammers who are getting financial assistance from Pakistan’s ISI. The Indian Government has already registered numerous cases against them for their seditious and terrorist linkages.

Sikh Community in US pledges to work for development of Punjab

The Sikh community in the US has determined to work for the development of Punjab, particularly in areas of education and environment.

The Sikhs in America are willing to invest in the development of Punjab, Gary Grewal, (Sikh American businessman) said after the first-ever virtual meeting of the community with India’s Ambassador to the US Taranjit Singh Sandhu.

About 100 eminent Sikh leaders from across the country participated in the virtual meeting with Sandhu, who organised the event as part of his outreach to the community.

Dr. Rajwant Singh, (President, EcoSikh) said it was important that the vast Punjabi and Sikh Diaspora was engaged in rebuilding Punjab.

Taranjit Singh Sandhu invited the members on the call to support students in rural areas and sponsor scholarships for education.

Sikh Human Development Foundation, a charity organization of NRI Sikhs based in Washington, has given scholarships for higher education to 7,300 students from low income families in Punjab and other neighbouring Northern Indian States in the last 20 years.

EcoSikh has offered to plant more forests in other parts of India to mitigate the effects of climate change and is ready to partner with the central and state governments on this challenge facing Punjab and India.

EcoSikh has worked closely with Punjab governmental agencies on environmental issues and the state government has adopted its idea of planting 550 trees in each village in Punjab.

This model is very encouraging and if implemented in a proper manner can work for the betterment of the state and would provide education to the marginalised sector of Punjab.

Terrorists face of Gurpatwant Singh Pannun

When the Punjab Referendum 2020 campaign of Gurpatwant Singh could not succeed in Punjab and his voter registration campaign on July 04 was a complete disaster, Pannun gets completely frustrated and he started adopting all means and measures to threaten the Govt. machinery and Police administration with his terror statements.

Recently he has threatened that families of police officials and ministers would not get visas to USA, Canada and Europe and claimed that he has connections with all the foreign ministries. Pannun claims that these foreign embassies would only work on the directions given by him.

Pannun has also cited one deceased IPS Police officer Gobind Ram, who was killed by Khalistan Liberation Force militants in 1990, when he was posted as the commandant in Jalandhar cantonment. Terrorists also killed four other junior police officers with an improvised explosive device planted in the cooler of his office.

Gobind Ram was an exceptionally brave police officer who distinguished himself in the campaign against terrorism in Punjab. He and members of his family figured on the top of the so-called hit-list prepared by the terrorists.

One way or the other, Pannun and his team members of Sikhs For Justice (SFJ) clearly demonstrate the extremist ideology behind their Punjab Referendum 2020. This ideology refers to their extremist ideas of targeting/killing/looting innocent people of Punjab and spreading militancy in the whole of Punjab.

Pannun is least bothered about the welfare and betterment of Punjab and, with the backing from Pakistan’s ISI, he wants to establish extremism and terrorism in the state.

The Punjab Police and the Indian Govt. are working continuously to foil his plans and strategies in Punjab and are working hard to maintain peace and harmony in the state. We should really encourage the efforts made by our law enforcements agencies to safeguard and protect us from these traitors and terrorists settled in western countries, who wants to disturb the law and order situation in Punjab.

ਪਰ ਹੁਣ ਹੈਰਾਨੀ ਵਾਲੀ ਗੱਲ ਇਹ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਜਿਥੇ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਭਾਈਚਾਰੇ ਦੇ ਲੋਕ ਕੈਨੇਡਾ ਵਿਚ ਸ਼ਾਂਤਮਈ ਤਰੀਕੇ ਨਾਲ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ ਓਥੇ ਨਾਲ ਨਾਲ ਕੁਛ ਅਜਿਹੇ ਲੋਕ ਵੀ ਵਸਦੇ ਹਨ ਜੋ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿਚ ਅੱਤਵਾਦੀ ਗਤੀਵਿਧਿਆਂ ਵਿਚ ਸ਼ਾਮਿਲ ਸਨ I ਇਹੋ ਜਿਹੇ ਲੋਕ ਅਜੇ ਵੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਪੁੱਠੇ ਕੰਮਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਜ਼ ਨਹੀਂ ਆਏ I ਉਹ ਖਾਲਿਸਤਾਨੀ ਗਤੀਵਿਧਿਆਂ ਵਿਚ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਲੈਂਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਨਾਲ ਨਾਲ ਓਥੋਂ ਦੇ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਭੜਕਾਉਣ ਦਾ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ I

ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਹੋ ਜਿਹੇ ਢੋਂਗੀਆਂ ਕੋਲੋਂ ਸੁਚੇਤ ਰਹਿਣ ਦੀ ਲੋੜ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਰੈਫਰੰਡਮ ਮੁਹਿੰਮ ਜੋ ਸਾਫ਼ ਸਾਫ਼ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਹੈ ਉਸਦਾ ਸਾਥ ਨਹੀਂ ਦੇਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਅਤੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿਚ ਅਮਨ ਸ਼ਾਂਤੀ ਬਣਾਈ ਰੱਖਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ  I

Canadian Intelligence Agency’s disastrous approach in investigating Air India Kanishka Bombing

In the worst disaster in aviation history before 9/11, 329 passengers were killed when a bomb went off on the India Air flight (known as Kanishka) to Delhi off the Irish coast on June 23, 1985.

In the weeks prior to that flight, a group of Khalistani Sikh Canadians had been conspiring to blow up the plane. Canadian authorities were not prepared for such a disaster.

The only person ever convicted over the 1985 Air India bombings that killed 331 people was Inderjit Singh Reyat, (a Canadian national and a member of the ISYF, who pleaded guilty in 2003 to manslaughter). Reyat was released from Canadian prison after serving two decades behind bars.

There have been various instances where it has been noticed that the Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS) bungled in the Kanishka bombing case at various stages. The CSIS failed to keep track of the main accused Talwinder Singh Parmar, who allegedly masterminded the bombings which killed 331 people in June 23, 1985.

The intelligence surveillance against Parmar was mounted even before the Air India bombing took place. The CSIS suspected that he was plotting to kill the then Indian Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi.

Parmar came under the intelligence scanner 39 times between April 6, 1985, and June 23, 1985 (the day of the Air India blasts).

Despite such high-profile evidence and allegations, Parmar was never charged in the Air India case. The CSIS also bungled when it erased the tapes of Parmar's phone calls before and after the Air India bombing.

The Kanishka bombing and later so many other terrorist attacks by Khalistani militants were a clear demonstration that this movement was not a peaceful movement and has extremist ideologies.

Canadian intelligence authorities, however, failed repeatedly to check Sikh militants activities on Canadian soil.

Several Khalistani extremists have taken political asylum in Canada and have subsequently been given citizenship in Canada. Terrorists like Hardeep Singh Nijjar, and many others are enjoying a lavish lifestyle in Canada even as they continue to wage war against India in the name of creating Khalistan in Punjab. Hardeep Singh Nijjar is a prominent supporter of Gurpatwant Singh Pannun’s Punjab Referendum 2020 campaign and is organizing events of this campaign on Canadian soil.
